 In 1985 a "Code Change" is formed at Culver - Stockton College in March after members of local fraternity Mu Theta Nu leave that organization after serious hazing problems...The group originated as a protest organization and a club to give Culver-Stockton College students an option to existing fraternities...Four former Mu Theta Nu's were part of the college's "Change" group: Brack Collier, Chris Hudon, Doug Redstone, and Phil Zezulak...The group's first meeting is held in the college's stately Johnson Hall in March. Junior Jim Spires is elected President...The group first learns about Delta Upsilon from the College Registrar, Terry Sherer, who was a DU at Bradley University in the 1960's...The group's constitution is approved by Culver-Stockton faculty in May...It is approved as a petitioning colony of Delta Upsilon Fraternity in December....DU letters are first seen on The Hill shortly afterwards.
