 In 1986 DU takes seven new members, increasing mebership to 13 members...DU is officially colonized on April 22 in a ceremony in the Herrick Center with thirteen Colony founders...Brack Collieris awarded the Interfraternity Council's Outstanding Active trophy, giving DU its first major IFC individual award winner...Chris Rossi is elected Greek God during the college's Greek Week '86 festivities...Colony sets a record in G.P.A. for Spring Semester...Colony holds rush week at the home of their Colony Advisor Terry Sherer in Canton, MO from September 21-24... The cheer "Gold and Blue!" is written during Rush Week...Eight new members join DU in Colony's first Bid Night at Johnson Hall on September 25...Dave Frausto is the first person to come "down the steps" for DU at Culver-Stockton... Seven more pledges join one week later... Collier is elected Junior Attendant at Homecoming in October, becoming the first DU to make Homecoming Court.
